1. Who is the data controller

The controller responsible for your data is Aviário Renato Carvalho (Renato Carvalho), based in Madeira, Portugal.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact and request data — name, email and phone you provide in the contact, pre-order, reservation or waiting-list forms.
• Subscription data — the email you give when subscribing to the newsletter or news channel.
• Payment data — when you buy, payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
• Technical and usage data — through measurement cookies (see section 6), only if you give consent.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

• To respond to contact requests, pre-orders and reservations — pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract.
• To send the newsletter and news — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To process payments and meet tax and accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.
• To measure site usage and improve the service, including advertising — based on your consent (cookies).

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We rely on service providers (processors) who handle it only on our behalf and under contract:

• Vercel — website hosting.
• Supabase — database and authentication (servers in the European Union).
• Stripe Payments Europe — secure payment processing.
• Resend — email and newsletter delivery.
• Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Pixel) — measurement and advertising, only with your consent.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfer is protected by appropriate legal mechanisms, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (for example, the cart and session) and measurement and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel).

Measurement and advertising cookies are only activated after you click “Accept” on the cookie notice. If you decline, those cookies are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes: contact and request data for the duration of the relationship and any applicable legal periods (notably tax); newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe; and measurement data for the periods defined in the tools used.

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Access your data and obtain a copy.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain processing and withdraw consent given.
• Request portability of your data.
